The weather once again was unseasonably warm on my days off. Because of this I just took my time and went slow and easy.

    The ferry coming straight into the harbor this afternoon.

    I always enjoy discovering a nice image for my camera lens,especially when I have no real destinations in mind. Today there was a nice northern harrier cruising the fields at katama airfield and the steamship, Island Home, cruising through vineyard sound heading to the island.

    Today the sun was high and bright. This caused the afternoon light to be high in contrast and causing deep shadows all around the island.

  While  walking the cold, wind swept shore line of Katama the other day, I came across a poor exotic wash a shore. I wonder how far this little sea horse has traveled and what he has seen.

    Where did all the white stuff go? Monday brought warm temperatures as high as 50 degrees and winter seemed to melt away.

    Well, we had our first snow fall and when it came it came fast. I guess you could call it a storm. The next day was sunday and everyone came out to play in the white stuff.

    This week was very windy and cold. The island seemed extra empty as I roamed around. I found myself the only one standing in the wide open cold spaces.
