With no rhyme or reason, I let me camera capture what ever might be in front of me, including me! Add Comment There is a slight hint of spring in the air, but as of now things are still mostly brown and bare. So I have turned toward some island structures and buildings for some entertainment. There are so many interesting buildings and skylines here. I tried to capture some together where they make a pleasant scene. Organic observations, whats that? Well, lately I have been photographing buildings around the island. Trying to catch all the man made angles and corners. These are more organic with smooth contours and outlines. This is my favorite formula for outside photography. Overcast, which acts like a natural diffuser and calm where nothing stirs and usually the water is like glass. The weather pulled another flip flop on us. It was so pleasant and warmer today. But my favorite was the absence of wind. With the slightly overcast sky, everywhere I looked was ready for a photo. After being around beaches so much, I seemed to look for structures and buildings. Once was not enough. I had to visit one of my favorite places again today. With not a soul around I enjoyed the view. Later the East Chop Lighthouse and the Martha's Vineyard Hospital caught my eyes. My first day off was just plain cold. I really needed to just go out and enjoy the day so I bundled up and tried to stay warm. If you can imagine what it might be like at the open field at the Gay Head look out. There was a harsh and strong wind blowing in from the ocean. I could even feel some sand being blown all this distance. The sky was bright, with the clouds lining up in patterns as they traveled over head. The weather once again was unseasonably warm on my days off. Because of this I just took my time and went slow and easy. |
